Hannah S. Sammy, M.A. (Special Needs), is a Special Education Intervention Specialist, Accessibility Consultant, Lecturer, and Managing Director of Holistic Learning Center Ltd. in Trinidad and Tobago. With over a decade of experience, she specializes in the assessment, design, and implementation of neurodiversity-affirming intervention plans for children and young adults. Her background spans educational therapy, academic coaching, program development, classroom teaching, and research coordination at The University of the West Indies.
Hannah lectures at the tertiary level and has developed courses and workshops for undergraduate students, parents, teachers, and paraprofessionals, emphasizing inclusive practices. She advances equity in education through accessibility consulting, caregiver support, and training initiatives that integrate research and practice.
Her professional development includes play therapy, special education law, IEP design, and accessibility strategies for D/deaf and visually impaired communities. She is an active member of the International Association of Special Education (IASE) and the National Association of Special Education Teachers (NASET), collaborating with professionals on an international stage.
